El Espartano

“In 1942 El Espartano under the leadership of its founders and a team of twenty professionals from the weaving trade, whom shared the firm philosophy, began production. The first plant was situated on Acassuso street in Olivos, one of Buenos Aires suburbs. In only 150 square meters, a team of specialists in yarn, loom and design worked to provide first class quality carpets for its clients.”
Today El Espartano manufactures, in Olivos’ industrial plant, its elegant and prestigious traditional carpets as well as Wilton, Axminster and Tufting, pure wool carpets.

In 2000 the company opened a second industrial plant in Don Torcuato, in Buenos Aires province, where a stock warehouse was built on an hectare and provides the necessary space to store 200 thousand square meters of carpet.

This new plant in Don Torcuato houses state of the art equipment which provides the modern technology that vertical system of manufacturing calls for. El Espartano manufactures the whole production process: yarn, dyes, extrusion, weaving, tondozado and finishing.

El Espartano has the necessary know how, state of the art technology, team of professionals who know and like to carry out their work and a manufacturing system thought to maximise quality.
